Our two-day Halloween festival is packed full of Paisley tales, party nights, mystery and music.

Friday 27 October

Animation and Film Workshop
Cinema Yurt on Brown’s Lane, 5pm-7pm
Unleash your creativity with Conrad Moleson as we explore storyboarding, soundtracks and stop-motion animation. Suitable for ages 7-15.

Halloween Film TBC (cert.PG)

Murder Mystery Night
Zambretto Italian, 7pm-10pm
£TBC (includes three-course meal and welcome drink)
Enjoy your fabulous Italian meal – because your night is about to take a mysterious turn!

‘The Sutherland Secret’ is a Victorian tale of murder and intrigue surrounding the whereabouts a missing gem with alleged supernatural powers. Brought to you by the team at It’s A Complete Mystery, the show features

Friday Fright Night
Paisley Museum, 7pm-9pm
Get dressed up and drop in for some devilishly fun and family-friendly activities! Have a go at ‘make and take’ arts and crafts, follow the spooky Museum Train to win a prize or enter our Best Dressed competition. Part of the UK-wide Museums at Night festival.

Get spooked at our freakiest fright night of the year!

Join Halloween revellers for a night of music, haunted performers and ghoulish ghosts. Don your ghastliest costume and prepare yourself for a night of seriously spooky goings-on.

Windows on the World
Paisley Abbey
Set in front of the Abbey doors, this specially-commissioned-for-Paisley interactive design is fun for all the family.

Go ‘backstage’ and meet the costumed Halloween Window performers, choose from a selection of props, masks and headdresses and then pop your head out of the window for a memorable Halloween photo!

Halloween Activities
Paisley Town Hall,
Loads of family fun in the town hall with a busy afternoon of Halloween-themed activities.

Eventmania will have face painting, soft play, arts and crafts, a kids disco and more family favourites; and the LEAP team will bring you a ‘green Halloween’ with recycling workshops, the ReMode pop-up shops and a zombie apocalypse!

Saturday Cinema
Cinema Yurt on Brown’s Lane
Watch a Halloween classic in the cosy confines of the cinema yurt.

Pumpkin Carving
Paisley Abbey, 1pm-7pm
Drop in and carve your Halloween pumpkin with the help of the team from Dom Art.

Lantern-Making and Balloon Sculptures
County Square
Make your Halloween lantern or get a scary balloon sculpture from the Balloonatics Witches. Remember to have them with you when you join in the parade

Paisley Tales
Paisley Abbey
There are some gruesome tales from Paisley’s past – do you dare to listen to them? Join the Village Storytelling Centre in the Abbey as they regale you with some hair-raising stories!

Live Stage with Capital FM
County Square
The popular DJs from Capital FM will keep the party going and we’ll have lost of local musical talent appearing on stage. Brought to you in association with Paisley First.

Halloween Parade
Paisley town centre, 6.30pm-7.30pm
Our spectacular Halloween Parade is always a festival highlight!

With a Fire Monster on a Paisley Chariot, the Spark! Drummers, LED lanterns, Mr Wilson’s Second Liners Band and lots more colourful participants, this is one not to be missed.

Parade route: New Street – Causeyside Street – St Mirren Brae – Gauze Street- Cotton Street

Fire Garden and Fire Stage
Bridge Street, 7.30pm – 9pm
Walk the Plank’s spectacular Fire Garden installations, soundscapes, projections and illuminations will make for a real spectacle in Abbey Close.

The Fire Stage which will play host to the electrifying Flame Oz, 90’s fusion music, the club sounds party vibe of Mr.Wilson’s Second Liners and the spectacular Spark! LED drummers.
