When: 6 July - 25 September
Where: Paisley Museum
Art is highly subjective - everyone has their own taste in artworks and particular styles of art which they like and dislike, be it landscape or portrait, traditional or contemporary, abstract or realism. Random Selection helps to illustrate this by displaying a selection of paintings chosen by staff and partner organisations from Paisley Museum and asks them to explain why they like (or even dislike!) that particular work of art.
Choices will cover everything from fine art to sculpture to contemporary art and include works by the Glasgow Boys, Scottish Colourists and some rarely seen examples from our collection and those of the Paisley Art Institute collection held by Paisley Museum.
We'd love to hear what you think of the paintings on display in this exhibition. Don't forget to leave your comments with us when you visit!
