Daniel Cameron leads ACTOR CRAFT our series of monthly sessions dedicated to the development of acting in a new writing context. Each month will focus on specific actor skills in relation to the following texts, Slab Boys by John Byrne, Lungs by Duncan MacMillan & This Restless House by Zinnie Harris.
Daniel Cameron is an actor and writer. As an actor he has worked with the Citizens Theatre, Traverse, Tron Theatre, Oran Mor, York Theatre Royal. He was recently awarded the BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award for Acting Performance 2016 for his performance in the film I Am Me. As a writer Daniel was the recipient of the Playwrights Studio Mentoring award 2017/2018. Daniel also works extensively developing the actors craft and regularly hosts workshops at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
