All access is via pre-booking and pre-payment only. Go to https://bookings.renfrewshireleisure.com/. Here, you can book your appointments up to seven days in advance. Once each booking is made, you will receive a confirmation email and advice on the guidance which must be followed at our venues. While we would prefer people to book online whenever possible, those who are unable to do so can call 0300 300 0250.
Leisure facilities at Park Mains High School in Erskine and at Johnstone Community Sports Hub will be the subject of a review process with Renfrewshire Council later this month. Planning for this second phase will ensure that school services on these shared sites have properly settled in after classes recommenced earlier this month and have been fully assessed before enabling strictly-controlled wider public access.
Safety is at the heart of every decision we are making, as everyone will appreciate. The Scottish Government’s advice was that the earliest possible date from which reopenings could begin is August 31st. Confirmation of that date has allowed us to review the latest Government guidance and enter the final phase of our preparations to ensure customer and employee safety.
Taking all of this into account - and wanting to ensure the best experience for our members, customers and staff - we have decided that, for most facilities, September 14th is the best date from which to proceed.
Ralston’s 3G pitch is again available for teams with pre-booked slots and who are ready to play. This follows Scottish Government guidance that outdoor football could restart from 31st August. However, the pavilion at Ralston currently remains closed and is not available for team changing. We continue to monitor all guidance around the reopening and operation of all of our venues and react accordingly. We will widen access as soon as we are safely able to do so.
At this time we are only able to offer showers, lockers and changing facilities to those who are swimming. Please arrive ready for your gym or class. We hope to offer these facilities again once it is deemed safe for us to do so.
Sessions are one-hour long (55 minutes activity). Please arrive no less than 10 minutes prior to sessions to get checked in.
One-way systems are in place and all equipment is spaced at least two metres apart. Additional cleaning stations have been installed throughout the gym.
If you are unable to attend your booked session, please cancel more than one hour before the beginning of your session to avoid a no-show being recorded.
You will need to arrive up to 10 minutes prior to the start of your class. We will confirm your attendance and contact information prior to access. Outstanding payments must be made prior to access. No late arrivals will be allowed to access a class. Please bring a pre-filled water bottle. No water fountains are in operation. A reduced number of toilets will be available for customer use.
You will be asked to confirm your attendance and ensure that all contact information is correct. Please be aware of any floor markings, which have been measured out and follow the one-way systems in operation. Please sanitise/wash your hands before, during, and after your gym session. All customers must clean equipment with sanitising cleaner. All customers must always adhere to physical distance rules, be respectful of others and limit your time on any piece of equipment to a 15-minute maximum. No “spotting” in the gym is permitted. When your session is over please vacate the gym promptly, to allow us to prepare for the next session/customers.
Fitness classes can be booked up to seven days in advance.
We are not limiting how many classes you can book per day but would ask you to be considerate of other customers and book no more than two classes per day.
There will be a range of classes on offer to support your return to indoor fitness. Our phased reopen plans may mean that not all classes are initially on the programme. We have re-purposed spaces to ensure capacity levels remain unaffected.
Please arrive up to 10 minutes prior to the start of your class. We will confirm your attendance and contact information prior to access. Outstanding payments must be made prior to access. No late arrivals will be permitted access to class. The programme on offer has been adapted and staggered in timings to ensure a safe flow of customers. This may mean some classes are held in different areas of the building. Please bring your own mat if you have one.
Please be aware of any floor markings, which have been measured out and follow the guidance of one customer in each floor space. We will ask you to fill the workout spaces as near to the front of the hall as possible. When you arrive, find a marked workout zone and place your valuables in it. Please sanitise/wash your hands before, during, and after your class. Please clean equipment with the sanitising spray provided before and after use. Please maintain a physical distance between yourself and others at all times.
When your class is over, please leave the hall promptly to allow us to clean and prepare for the next class / customers. Please keep to physical distancing guidance as you leave the hall. If you have booked two consecutive classes, you will still need to leave the studio in between the two classes. There will be a gap between classes to allow for cleaning. Once you have finished your class, please leave the facility via the route identified via signage. Whilst we are delighted to see you back, we ask that you exit the facility as soon as possible because we have arranged our class bookings to carefully manage the number of people in our building at any one time. We thank you for playing your part in keeping everyone safe.
Bookings for a limited number of sports on indoor courts - within certain restrictions - will open on Monday, September 14th. These will begin with badminton / short tennis, table tennis and single hoop basketball practice. In line with Scottish Government guidance, no contact sports can be played on indoor courts at this time. Bookings can be made by calling 0300 300 0250.
