Has the Easter Bunny visited Paisley Museum's Store?

A collection of beautiful, decorative eggs have just been uncovered at Paisley Museum's Store, just in time for Easter. This discovery comes as the Decant Team prepare to move the Museum's collection to it's new High Street home later this year.

Dating from approximately 1950, these traditional German Easter Eggs would have once contained some tasty treats.

In Germany decorative eggs much like these discovered within Paisley Museum's Collection are traditionally hung from an Osterbaum - or Easter Tree - to celebrate the holiday.
