The First Minister has said that the new rules covering Renfrewshire will be in place until December 11.
Bookings for a limited number of sports on indoor courts - within certain restrictions - will open on Monday, September 14th. These will begin with badminton / short tennis, table tennis and single hoop basketball practice. Some outside synthetic sports pitches will reopen to pre-existing club bookings on August 31st, although changing room facilities as well as smaller pavilions and gym facilities (at Seedhill, Ferguslie and Ralston) will remain closed for now as a result of challenging physical distancing requirements. Wider bookings - which must be made by phone - will be opened from September 14th. The pitches which will open on August 31st are: Seedhill, Ferguslie, Ralston, ON-X and Renfrew Sports Centre. Others at our shared facility sites will reopen later following detailed health and safety reviews to ensure there has been sufficient time to settle pupils and staff safely back to schools.
