Provost's Awards 2018
The Provost's Community Awards 2018 is a chance to recognise the stars in our communities.
If you know someone who devotes much of their time to others or who overcomes difficulty to achieve success, why not nominate them for an award?
This year there are six award categories:
Community Group (sponsored by Piazza Shopping Centre, Paisley)
An award for groups who are involved in improving their community through supporting others, are involved in local projects and events or contribute to community safety.
Community Volunteer (sponsored by Glasgow Airport Ltd)
Recognising individuals for their contributions to the community and their dedication to the people and organisations who benefit from their selfless endeavour.
Sporting Achievement (sponsored by Acre Industrial)
Open to either individuals or groups who have achieved sporting success, perhaps having overcome adversity or personal sacrifice to compete.
Employer of the Year (sponsored by UNISON):
Employees can nominate their employer for developing or improving training, support and skills of employees and promoting economic and community regeneration.
Arts and Culture Award
This new award has been created to seek out the hidden, or not so hidden, gems who light up Renfrewshire's cultural scene.
Carers' Award (donated by former Provost Nancy Allison)
An award for any individual or group who offers care to a relative, friend or neighbour and may be unpaid or taking time out of their busy lives to visit an elderly neighbour.
You can fill out the nomination form via the link above and email it to email@example.com.
