Paisley Art Institute's Scottish Drawing Competition

The Scottish Drawing Competition has been hosted by the Paisley Art Institute since 1983.   The competition is usually biennial and is open to artists of Scottish connection, by birth or residence, and students attending colleges of art in Scotland. Past winners have included Frances Walker and Peter Howson. For 2017 the Institute, in partnership with an established sponsor, will offer a first prize of £1,000. The final selected work from open submissions will create an exhibition showcasing the talents of Scottish artists.

Downloadable application forms will be available from the PAI web site from the first week in September or can be requested by sending an A5 SAE to: PAI Secretary, Box 114, Abbey House, 43 High Street, Paisley, PA1 2AH.
