Renfrewshire Sports Awards 2018

The 2018 Renfrewshire Sports Awards will showcase the dedication, hard work and achievements of local coaches, volunteers and officials.

Across Renfrewshire, there are a huge number of people of all ages and backgrounds involved in a wide range of sporting activities and these awards are a chance to highlight some of the outstanding commitment that goes towards developing local sport.

The event, presented by Renfrewshire Leisure, will be held on Thursday 4th October at Johnstone Town Hall with tickets priced at only £35.  The evening will consist of the award ceremony itself, dinner and live entertainment.

 

The following awards will be presented on the night;

 

Coaching

Community Coach of the Year

Young Coach of the Year

Disability Sports Coach of the Year

 

Officiating

Technical Official of the Year

 

Volunteering

Volunteer of the Year

Young Volunteer of the Year

Community Health Volunteer Award

  

Lifetime Achievement

Dedication to Sport Award

On the evening, we will also be recognising the schools in Renfrewshire who currently hold a Gold level SportScotland School Sport Award.

 

 

Nominations for this year’s awards will open on Thursday 26th April and will run until Friday 29th June.

In order to nominate someone who’s hard work you believe deserves to be recognised click here to fill in the nomination form. 

Once nominations have closed, an experienced panel of judges will face the tough task of deciding this year’s worthy winners.
