Volunteer opportunities at Paisley Book Festival

Are you interested in gaining experience as a Welcome Host, Social Media/Marketing Assistant, a General Runner, a Photographer/Videographer or being part of a Marketing Street Team

Then why not come along and Volunteer at the first Paisley Book Festival in February 2020?

Taking place between 20th-29th February 2020, the inaugural Paisley Book Festival will bring some of Scotland’s best literary talent to Paisley to take part in more than 50 events on the theme of Radical Voices and Rebel Stories. Inspired by the 1820 radical uprisings which saw everyday people in Paisley rising against the establishment, we’ll be looking back to these roots as inspiration for what the word radical means today, and how new ideas can be spread through the power of the written and spoken word.

With Paisley Arts Centre as its hub, the festival will also hold events in the Piazza Shopping Centre (POP), Paisley Central Library, the Lagoon Leisure Centre, and a variety of cafes and bars around Paisley, and we’d love your help!

While volunteering as part of Paisley Book Festival you will have the opportunity to gain new skills in events administration, enhance your CV, develop marketing skills, and have the opportunity to interact with both participants and attendees. Or perhaps you would like to meet likeminded people and help to share your love of literature in the community.

In the run up to the festival, we will be holding a one-day training session for all festival staff and volunteers, so you will need to be available on 7.2.2020
