The result of an impressive £7m investment, the existing High Street building has undergone a full internal remodelling across all four floors. The eye-catching ground- and first-floor frontage complements the surroundings and preserves the historic features on the building’s upper floors.
The interior design is modern, fresh, warm, and welcoming. As well as lots of cosy book nooks, there is a new purpose-built children’s library with unique areas for reading, learning, and play. You can also relax and enjoy the quiet space on the new third floor mezzanine, or visit our new dedicated digital suite which offers free public IT access for all.
Renfrewshire Libraries look after 12 libraries across the region (including Paisley Central Library) and offer a range of events and activities, from coding clubs to reminiscence sessions, as well as outreach activities such as the Libraries Direct service and our popular Digital Champion service.
